Dr. Wenyan Zhu started her passion for dentistry early on. As a high school senior, she started working in a dental office as a front desk personnel. During her college summers she returned to the same office where she worked as a dental assistant. She originally wanted to do research in her field of biomedical engineering at Vanderbilt University, but soon realized how much she enjoyed working with patients and decided to change her career. She graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she met and was roommates with Dr.Ivy. After Columbia, she did a 1 year dental residency at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. She worked in NYC for 2 years before moving out to New Jersey for more space for her growing family.
